Emily, Brad and Humphrey

Last week I got to spend time with the sweetest Pug that ever pugged, when Humphrey, Emily and Brad came into the studio for their family photo shoot. Humphrey is the apple of his parents eyes and we all had a delightful time making memories in the comfort of the studio air con. I asked Emily how Humphrey came to be in their lives. "We had a choice of two black male puppies and he chose us by giving Brad a lick on the nose. He still does the nose lick to this day."

Humphrey came into the studio with a few costume changes, including a tag attached to his bow tie collar that states 'Insert treat here' - which I did! Treat loving dogs are a photographers dream. Emily says, "Humphrey is a total poser. We've been dressing him up for Halloween (Pugoween) every year for 12 years and he loves the spotlight. You put him in his outfit at home and he's a miserable grump. But put him in front of a crowd and he will strut that red carpet like a pro."
