Family shoot with Ace, Maya, Toby & Eli
When do good neighbours become good friends? When you spend a glorious golden afternoon at your local park making gorgeous family memories! I met Ace and Maya in Hurlstone Park for a stroll with thier wild childs Toby and Eli to get some well overdue family portraits. Our goal was to make it fun for the kids, because at 5 and 2, their emotions rule and getting good photos relied on them loving the experience, so we began with an all-in tickle fight to set the tone.

Once the giggles were flowing, we set off by taking a walk in the bushy edges of the Cooks river and just letting the boys explore. They looked for bugs, swung on branches and just loved showing their parents all the amazing things they were discovering as I lingered behind them capturing these sweet moments.
With the excitement and energy bubbling over, it was best to just let it all out rather than try to get them to sit and smile, so we just let the boys be boys, which resulted in games of peek-a-boo, catch me if you can and bending over and making fart noises. 😂 We just rolled with it and captured the fun and chaos of having two high energy kids under 6.

Many thanks to Ace and Maya for trusting the process and being great sports. xo
